Installation of GPMAW version 13.0

Released on August 26, 2021.

The following installation files will all install the same version of GPMAW on your system, but due to variations in Windows and access rights of users, a number of different install programs are presented.

Upgrade of GPMAW.
Download for 32-bit Windows. (file name ‘GPupdate32.exe’). Please contact Lighthouse data if you need a 32-bit version of GPMAW version 13.0
Download for installer for 64-bit Windows. (file name ‘GPupdate64.exe’).
This will only install the executable file, help file and documentation. This is the file with the smallest footprint and is recommended for upgrading.. You may also use the full install file below, but remember to copy your license file (gpmaw.lcs).
The update can also be downloaded as an MSI file Click for download.


All install systems mentioned below are full installs and need the license file (gpmaw.lcs) in order to complete installation.
To perform an installation you should download to a temporary directory, copy your license file (‘gpmaw.lcs’) to the same directory, and then activate (double-click) the .exe file.

32-bit installer (file name ‘GPsetup32.exe’). Click for download.
Standard installer for 32-bit Windows. You need to include ‘gpmaw.lcs’ file in the same directory as the setup file in order to get a working system.

64-bit installer (file name ‘GPsetup64.exe’). Click for download.
Standard installer for 64-bit Windows. You need to include ‘gpmaw.lcs’ file in the same directory as the setup file in order to get a working system.

Changes in v. 13.0

  • Updating the Ms/ms search to accept mzXML files.
  • From the Ms/ms search mzXML files enables to view MS1 data.
  • The 'Multi-search' function in Ms/ms search updated. Result spectrum filtering fixed.
  • A function in the mzXML (MS1) view enables comparison of 14N and 15N data.
  • The modification files can now contain 40 entries. The editor has been updated.
  • Multi-chain sequences are now background colored to differentiate chains. Can be turned off in the system setup.
  • The MS2 viewer has been updated with a new ms/ms tag functionality.
  • 'What if' function updated.
  • Edit sequence updated. Multi-chain could lead to composition error. Numbering issue solved.
  • In default mass file, Ca was labeled 'Selenium'
  • The peptide coverage map can now be printed in variable width.
  • A disulfide search mode implemented in mgf view of EThcD spectra.
  • The install and .exe files are now code signed for better security.
  • The internal decimal separator is now automatically set to '.' in locations where ',' is the standard.
